We have a strong history of multi-unit construction projects, both renovations and new construction. Our projects have resulted in impressive facilities that are cost-effective, low maintenance and long-lasting.
The construction in Saco consisted of a series of projects for the boarding/day school that is one of the largest in Maine.
The main project was centered around the new construction of three two-story dorms, approximately 19,000 square feet each. We worked with owners and architects to develop budgets and finalize planning board approvals from the city.
These projects included ICF foundation construction which provide an excellent curing environment for concrete walls, resulting in a concrete foundation with about double the compressive strength of conventionally poured concrete foundation.
Historical renovation of the former St. Andre’s school/convent in Biddeford into a senior housing community. The school consists of 35 apartments and the convent has been constructed to have 15 apartments.
This project to rehabilitate and reuse the former school/convent represented an important effort to revitalize an under-recognized neighborhood, provide high-quality housing for local residents, and ensure a brighter future for a treasured historic complex.
New construction for an apartment complex project in South Portland will consist of four six-story buildings with a total of 256 units.
A shared conference room, fitness center and elevator are in each building. Along with shared outdoor patio space.
Expanding on the principles of ‘smart growth,’ and efficient urban living, The Latitude project will further enhance the vitality of the community.
Renovation of a historic four-story building in Augusta that will include three floors of residential space (23 units) and retail space on the ground floor (three units).
A large portion of the project consists of salvaging materials from the original building.
This development project will bring contemporary urban housing to the downtown district.
